A beautiful antique pottery vessel with a rounded form. It has a smooth burnished surface and a few incised markings. Probably African.
It has a rounded base so there is a slight wobble unless using a stand.
There has been a sensitive repair to the rim as pictured.
The date is unknown but most likely early 1900s
