Frederick Leslie Kenett Polished Plaster Sculpture
Frederick Leslie Kenett Polished Plaster Sculpture
£610.00
A polished plaster sculpture by photographer turned sculptor Frederick Leslie Kenett, known for his abstract forms in plaster and bronze.
Kenett specialised in photographing sculpture before becoming a sculptor himself. He exhibited his work widely in the mid-60s before stopping abruptly and opting to work privately.
The piece is in good condition, with surface colouration and patina consistent with its age. Most likely made in the 70s when Kenett lived in solitude and became prolific in making plaster sculptures that were never cast.
